Things to remember while placing an order

Modified on Fri, 12 May 2023 at 10:48 AM

As much as we would like all our customers to enjoy uninterrupted services, there may be occassions when you come across a few errors while trading. To make it easier to understand what the issue may be, we have listed some error messages and what they mean:

  1. Unsolicited Cancel confirmation- if the order placed does not meet the requirements, the order will get cancelled by the system itself. eg: If you have placed a buy order for 1 ETH and the order gets settled in 2 lots which add up to 0.99999999, the balance 0.0000001 will get cancelled by the system. Your order has been filled to the maximum volume of 0.99999999 available in the market at that moment.
The remainder of 0.0000001 could not be filled and became untradable, because it is below minimum tradable volume. When volume falls below tradable volume, engine pulls that volume out of the market.

  2. Good Till Cancelled(GTC)- The order will remain in the order until such time that the order is completed or cancelled by the trader.
